My Story
Artworksbydel
I'm Delaney, a recent graduate of Fine Art at Gray’s School of Art, Specialising in painting. I primarily create work inspired by the marine life of Scotland’s east coast - where we watch dolphins almost daily. My practice mainly focuses on marine animals, aiming to inspire a deeper care for our environment and climate change.
I began taking commissions after a fundraiser for Cancer Research UK, in memory of my Gran, who always supported my art. What started as drawing her friends’ pets has grown into a passion for capturing the character of animals - both wild and domestic - through thoughtful, personal portraiture.
Each piece supports my ongoing journey as an artist and my goal of funding a Master’s in Fine Art.
